Above threshold ionization by ultrashort high-power laser

摘要
We observed the energy distribution of photoelectrons with a KrF laser. Ionization occurred in the multiphoton regime in a strong KrF laser field even beyond the saturation intensity. In the KrF, the multiphoton ionization is nonresonant. Then the photoelectron distribution in the circularly-polarized pulse was almost equal to that in the linearly-polarized pulse.
