摘要
Cutting forces are important for the design of tools and machines as well as for the quality of sawn, milled or sanded surfaces. Despite the fact that attempts to describe cutting forces for the machining of wood and derived wood products are more than 60 years old there is no solution which is capable of taking all important parameters into account. This paper tries to include the most important influences in an empiric mathematical multi parameter model for the prediction of cutting forces.
