摘要
This study focused on investigating the impact of using Microsoft Teams (MS Teams) for teaching and learning at WSU Butterworth because of its geographical location. In an attempt to address the objectives, the study determined the factors that need to be considered, challenges, and benefits of using MS Teams for teaching and learning at a rural university. The study adopted a quantitative research method with the use of a closed-up questionnaire. A convenience sampling technique was to select participants. Data collected was analysed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). The results showed that students need a conducive environment in their places of residence to experience a positive learning experience. The results showed that conditions for learning must be favorable and adequate for teaching and learning to take place. The study also found a good number of significant benefits in using MS Teams such as accessing class recordings, notes, and other resources easily which constituted a desirable out-of-classroom support system for students.
