摘要
Bridge deck slabs are common load-carrying members which directly carry vehicle loadings and transfer the loads to beams, and they will be damaged more or less under the daily loading conditions. It is important to predict life of bridge deck slabs in order to supervise reinforcement and remedy of slabs. In this paper, the crack density is derived from a statistical method on site monitoring data. According to the crack density and damage criterion, the relation of traffic volume and damage degree is obtained using regression model, thus remaining life of the bridge deck slabs can be calculated, for comparing with results from the analysis of shear fatigue tests of bridge deck slabs based on S-N curve. Slabs of the Haneda line and Shinjuku line are not sustainable enough in present conditions.
