摘要：
Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in men and women. This article reviews the demographics of cardiac disease in women and discusses the impact of mood and anxiety disorders on cardiac disease in women. Cardiac risks and benefits of psychiatric treatment are also discussed.
