Ameroseius fungicolis sp. n. and A. callosus sp. n. (Acarina, Mesostigmata, Ameroseiidae) have been described on the basis of collections from the wood-destroying fungi [Phellinus igniarius (L. ex FR.) QUEL. and Fomes fomentarius (L. ex FR.) KICKX.].
