摘要
Waffle cylindrical casings are referred to as load-bearing elements of aircraft structure. They consist of shell (wall) elements and reinforcing basic elements (stiffeners). Waffle casings are distinguished by the location of the ribs: (1) with a longitudinal-circumferential set of ribs; (2) with a cross set of ribs located at an angle of 45 degrees to the generatrix; (3) with a cross-circumferential set-up, where cross ribs are located at an angle of 30 degrees to the generatrix and circular ribs. Waffle casings in a simplified form were analyzed while maintaining the stiffness and strength parameters of the construction using the method of finite elements under the impact of axial and transversal forces and bending and torque moments, which allowed making a conclusion about the reliability of the results.
