The Internet, through its disruptive nature, the, open sourse" technologies, more and more used in the media, and legislative barriers, more lax, changed the power relations between the big media institutions, high on the one hand, and small institutions and individuals, on the other. And the financial crisis that significantly affected the funding of journalism, emphasized further this report. Accordingly, in order to devote this phenomenon appeared and developed a new concept of digital media entrepreneurship. This paper aims to analyze the changes in the digital media industry, trying to understand their context, one of innovation and the emergence of new business models and growth. At the same time, it will be examined the (classical) apparent contradiction of journalistic and entrepreneurial values, between economic sustainability and possible conflicts of interest etc.
