摘要
This article deals with an online structural health monitoring (SHM) concept for the inspection of mechanical structures and its experimental validation. Piezoceramic disc actuators are used to excite thin steel structures and to measure the dynamic system response. A model updating algorithm, based on the least-squares method, adapts a finite element model to the experimental data. Two indicators are presented, which enable the localization and the quantification of changes in the structural state.
