摘要
The paper aims at an integrated solution of data acquisition and storage system for high frequency imaging sonar applications. Hardware is designed with a single, 16 channel analog front end module (AFE) and a field programmable gate array (FPGA). The time critical design uses multi Giga bit transceiver (MGT) interface between AFE and FPGA. After digitization, set of data are stored in a high speed semiconductor memory for further processing. Functionality of the design is verified using Xilinx simulator and timing behavior is analyzed on hardware using Chipscope pro-analyzer tool provided by Xilinx.
