摘要:
The oral stories of the Xukuru Indians of Ororuba (Pesqueira and Pocao/PE) contain everyday events that represent the spaces and moments of sociability they experienced in the Ororuba mountains, as well as the meaning of Cimbres as a reference of mythical-religious memory for the affirmation of their group identity. The fragments collected are both individual autobiographical memories and part of a collective history, where the interviewees, supported by the memory and the shared story about the past, assert their rights as an indigenous people based on what they have experienced, thought and expressed.
