摘要：
This paper has a comprehensive analysis of the connotation, features and categories of modern service industry. In addition, overall statistic analysis is made to the development stage, scale and traits and status quo of the modern service industry in Hubei Province of China. In the light of specific conditions of Hubei's service industry, the paper proposes three pillars for Hubei's service industry development, relevant supporting polices and network construction strategies in the hope that they can be of any help to boost the development of Hubei's service industry.
