摘要
MPEG-4 simple profile is being used as the video compression standard in mobile video communications. Video compression requires significant amount of processing power. Currently, ARM cores are widely used in mobile applications because of their low power consumption. As the processing power available is limited, optimization of the applications is inevitable. This paper describes in detail about the implementation of MPEG-4 simple profile video decoder on ARM7TDMI.
