摘要
In this review paper the topological formulation of the (4 + 1) -dimensional gravity and supergravity is presented. The gauge invariant gravity construction is accomplished by using the Chern-Simons form with the gauge groups the de Sitter groups SO(I, 5), SO(2, 4) and the Poincare group ISO(1, 4). Five-dimensional supergravity is written as a Chern-Simons action with the gauge group the super-group SU(2, 2\N). The Lagrangian is a Chern-Simons density for the supergroups, the supersymmetry algebra closes without auxiliary fields.
