Quantum-confined Stark effects on optical transitions of InAs self-assembled quantum dots

摘要
We used the electroreflectance spectra to study the quantum-confined Stark effects on the interband transitions of InAs self-assembled quantum dots, Non-zero dipole moments of quantum dots were observed by analyzing the electric field dependent red shift of the transition energies. In this experiment, we found a dipole moment direction inversion between pure InAs quantum dots and embedding quantum dot within a InGaAs strain reduced layer.
