摘要
This paper address a modified method of tuning for fractional order PID controllers. Fractional order PID (FOPID) controller inherits the advantages of the traditional PID controller and has additional degree of freedom in the design. Based on this characteristic of the fractional PID controller, a modified method for tuning fractional PID controller has been proposed and is applied to number of systems. The results shows that the proposed method works well for the design of fractional order PID controllers.
