摘要：

Megaesophagus in the dog is defined as a disorder of esophageal transport or lower esophageal sphincter function, which results in retention of food and dilation of the esophagus (Guilford and Stromback, 1996) Megaqesophagus may be congential or acquired or occur as secondary to a number of causes (Mears and Denova, 2000). This article describes about megasophagus in a German Shepherd dog.
