Hardship of program utilization and user-friendly software

摘要
In this paper, software utilization and processes of user-program interaction are analyzed in the context of the theory of algorithms. This study is aimed to support the development of high quality user-friendly software. The process of program utilization is considered as an interaction between a user and a utilized program by means of computer interface. Three levels of such utilization are explicated and analyzed. We formalize the idea of the program hardship developing a stratified system of mathematical models for communication complexity. On the base of the theory of algorithmic complexity and the theory of programs, we develop a general approach to measurement of software hardship.
