摘要
Molten chloride salts are excellent heat transfer fluids (HTFs) and thermal energy storage (TES) media, and they have potential applications in concentrating solar power (CSP) plants. However, they have strong corrosivity to metal pipes or vessels in actual working conditions, which is an urgent problem that needs to be solved. In this paper, a new strategy for mitigating the corrosivity of molten NaCl-CaCl2-MgCl2 salt is proposed. The results showed that the formation of MgO particles in molten salt using the in-situ generation method is an effective method for mitigating the corrosivity of molten chloride salt.
