Electrostatic model of water vapor condensation

摘要
Model calculations of all processes were performed on the basis of the electrostatic model of a water molecule, which represents molecule as a sphere of radius R 0 =1.74×10 -10 m with an oxygen atom at its center. This molecular model has a dipole moment of 6.14×10 -30 C m, which is equal to the tabulated value. Initially, the orientations of all 55 molecules were set random and then the minimum of the total electrostatic energy was achieved by means of small rotations of each molecule about all three axes. calculations of the averaged values of the saturation pressure made it possible to determine the effective value of ΔE, which proved to be ΔE eff =6.56×10 -20 J.
