摘要
The rate of energy dissipation of the time relaxation model in body-force-driven turbulence is analyzed to evaluate the effect of a time relaxation term on a simulation of 3d fluid motion. The result, which agrees with Kolmogorov's conventional turbulence theory, is also consistent with the rate proven for the Navier-Stokes equations. The analysis provides a range of possible values for a key model parameter. (C) 2020 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
