Epoxidation of Z,E,E-1,5,9-cyclododecatriene with hydrogen peroxide under phase-transfer conditions

摘要
Z,E,E-1,5,9-Cyclododecatriene (CDT) was epoxidized in PhMe to 1,2-epoxy-Z,E-5,9-cyclododecadiene (ECDD) with Hp, on Na2WO4/H3PO4/[Me(n-C8H17)(3)WIHSO4- catalyst. The highest selectivity of ECDD formation (94% by mole) at a high conversion of CDT (64%) was achieved at 50 degrees C for 90 min when Na2WO4/H3PO4 ratio was 2:1, H2O2/Na2WO4 75:1 and H2O2/CDT 1,5:1.
