Flow rate is not only an important parameter to ensure the normal operation of hydraulic system, but also the characteristic information of fault detection and condition monitoring of hydraulic system, which has important engineering significance. This paper describes an ultrasonic sensor for flow measurement of aircraft hydraulic pipeline and its detection principle. The ultrasonic probe can be installed on the outer wall of the pipeline with an appropriate fixture to achieve non-contact measurement without breaking or stopping to installation. After wavelet transform and the two-series filter of median filtering and mean filtering, the experimental results show that the ultrasonic flow sensor has the advantages of simple installation, convenient use and high accuracy, and can meet the needs of practical engineering.
