The behavior of gas bubbles in insonated biological tissues

摘要：
The behavior of gas bubbles in elastic media subjected to the action of sound has been considered. We obtained a simple expression for the resonance frequency of radial oscillations in such media and derived the dispersion equation. The viscoelastic properties of the medium were taken into account. The specific characteristics of cavitation induced in biological tissues by moderate and high sound intensities were considered.
