摘要
In this work, we reported a strategy on how to utilize CO2 in synthesizing adsorbent materials, which were then applied in CO2 capture. The innovation was the first discovery of carbon dioxide as a special weak acid in aqueous solution to adjust the interaction between the anionic surfactant and the amino-silane, which simultaneously achieved high amine content, well-ordered mesopores, and high surface area, thereby achieving high efficiency adsorption of CO2. An adsorption capacity of over 5.0 wt% for CO2 uptake at 30 C and a regeneration of over 30 adsorption-desorption cycles were proven that it was a good adsorbent for CO2 capture. In addition, this adsorbent was easily regenerated at a relatively low temperature of 90 ?. Therefore, it showed great potential for CO2 capture considering the energy-saving and the environmental aspects.
