摘要
Cloud computing technology was implemented to offers services as utility over the internet to enable number of applications for scientific and business domain. At initial of its implementation the main objective was to improve the system performance. But along with time, as hosting of applications over cloud data centers increased, to create a sustainable data center became the predominant key issue. Energy consumption influences other performance parameters such as operational cost, maintenance of cooling system etc. This paper presents challenges and architectural elements involve in energy consumption. We have considered various data center infrastructure (i.e. different resources or hardware used in computation) for modeling of energy consumption to develop sustainable data centers. In this research paper we have presented the factors involve in energy consumption and formulate them to evaluate energy consumption more precisely.
