摘要
The aim of this study was verification of validity of Multimethod objective interest test battery (MOI) by Proyer and Hausler (2008). MOI represents an innovative approach in the vocational interests diagnostics because it combines explicit measurement of interests (questionnaire and nonverbal test) with implicit measurement of interests (3 objective personality tests). MOI is based on Holland's theory. Holland (1997) assumes existence of six types of vocational interests ordered in circular model (hexagon), where adjacent interest types are significantly correlated. We examined construct validity of MOI through verification of circular ordering of vocational interest in hexagon, within individual method which MOI provides. Concurrent validity of MOI was examined through investigation of relationship between different methods of MOI. The research sample consisted of 131 participants (59 men, 72 women) aged from 15 to 60 years. Participant ' s average age was 30.4 (SD = 12.1). Circular ordering of interests was shown to some extent in explicit measurement. Circular ordering of interests was not confirmed in implicit measurement. We found good concurrent validity for explicit methods of MOI. To use MOI in Slovak conditions we recommend further verification of psychometric properties, especially for implicit methods.
