摘要
Electromagnetic pollution is getting more and more severe nowadays. In this paper the Characters and effects of electromagnetic radiation on organisms are discussed. Thermal effects and non-thermal effects of electromagnetic radiation on live things are also presented. Then a series of suggestions to diminish electromagnetic pollution are put forward. With the rapid development of electronic technology, electromagnetic pollution is getting more and more serious with each passing day. So it has been paid attention by many countries and has entered the list of public hazards, which need to be eliminated on the United Nations Human Environment Conference. Especially microwave radiation is the main cause of electromagnetic pollution which not only disturbs the ecological balance but also threats human beings. Therefore, it has a wide significance to study how to get rid of electromagnetic pollution.
