摘要
Carbon templates of laminar structure were manufactured from Pyrolysed filter paper sheets by Laminated Object Manufacturing (LOM). The laminates were converted into SiC-ceramics by liquid Si-infiltration. The microstructure and mechanical properties of the fabricated SiSiC-ceramic parts strongly depend on the laminated microstructure of the carbon preform. Lamination temperature and pressure as well as the composition of the hot melt adhesive during LOM processing were investigated and correlated with the resulting properties.
