摘要
The teacher-student relationship in modern University is not optimistic. To build an ideal teacher-student relationship, we ought to study not only western educational theories but also ancient culture source of China. Confucius and his students respect each other, so the relationship between teacher and students is harmonious and democratic. There are several factors for formation harmonious relationship between Confucius and his students. First, Confucius displays immense personality and breadth of knowledge. Second, the students Confucius are adept at learning and asking question. Third, Confucius and his students are frank to each other. In addition, the education art of Confucius, such as dialogue teaching, example-following teaching, also offers enlightenment for reconstruction of the healthy teacher-student relationship in today's college and university.
