摘要
This paper presents results of fieldwork carried out in Puente de Fierro, one of the largest informal settlements in Gran La Plata, Argentina. Puente de Fierro is characterized by high social and environmental vulnerability and was strongly affected by a nun precedented flood on April 2, 2013. This event exposed the fragility of the urban order and led city dwellers to problematize and rethink the city. This study addresses the dispute of senses emerging from that scenario in the context of an informal settlement with ways of organization and political representation marked by instability and uncertainty.
