摘要
Recycling concepts have been developed for NiCd, NiMH, primary consumer batteries and Li-Ion consumer batteries. Some of the processes have been implemented on industrial level and even archived to be acknowledged as Best Available Technology (BAT). The recycling concepts and their potential with respect to recycling efficiency are discussed in this article. Subsequently the current research work on automotive batteries is described in detail.
