Flexible sheet displays using organic light-emitting transistors

摘要
We have developed novel metal-insulator-semiconductor-type organic light-emitting transistors (MIS-OLETs), and have improved the characteristics of the MIS-OLETs by optimizing the device structure. The MIS-OLET shows a maximum drain current of I-D = -149 mu A, maximum luminance of 1,034 cd/m(2) (V-D = -20 V, V-G = -50 V) and an On/Off ratio over 10(4). In addition, we have demonstrated an active matrix display using these MIS-OLETs fabricated on a plastic substrate.
