Mixed-Ligand Complexes of Dipropyldithiocarbamatozinc(II) with 1,10-Phenanthroline, 2,2′-Bipyridine, and 4,4′-Bipyridine

摘要
Mixed-ligand complexes of di-n-propyldithiocarbamatozinc(II) with 1,10-phenanthroline, 2,2'-bipyridine, and 4,4'-bipyridine were synthesized. An X-ray diffraction study of the [Zn(n-C(3)H(7))(2)NCS(2)](2)C(12)H(10)N(2) and {Zn[(n-C(3)H(7))(2)NCS(2)](2)}(2)C(10)H(8)N(2) complexes was performed. The structure of the first complex is mononuclear with an octahedral ZnN(2)S(4) coordination core, and the structure of the second complex is binuclear with a tetragonal-pyramidal ZnNS(4) coordination core. It is found that the synthesized complexes are volatile upon heating in vacuum.
