摘要
In order to solve the problems of electrode radial run-out, brush wear, and low electrode speed in traditional electric discharge machining (EDM), this paper designs a contact-less power transmission device for rotating EDM systems based on the principle of electromagnetic induction. According to the needs of electrode rotation, a suitable loosely coupled transformer structure and wire type are selected, and the influence of the internal coil layout and gap distance on the coupling coefficient is analyzed. Finally, the feasibility of contactless power transmission is verified through simulation and experiment. The unidirectional pulse voltage is received on the secondary side, and the EDM machining experiment is carried out with the equipment. The contactless rotary EDM system is of great significance for improving the accuracy of electrode rotation, thereby improving the machining accuracy of micro-holes and micro-shafts.
