摘要
The thermal conductivity of GdSx solid solutions (Th3P4 structure) has been measured between 80 and 400 K. In all of the solid solutions studied, lattice thermal conductivity prevails. The high-temperature thermal conductivity of GdS1.500 is due not only to the phonon mechanism but also to radiative heat transport. At x < 1.49, filling of cation vacancies increases the electronic component, whose contribution rises with increasing Gd content.
