Equivalent mechanical property evaluation of plain weave fabric composite is carried out by Variational Asymptotic Method(VAM) and Finite Element Modelling based unit cell homogenization technique separately. VAM formulation of 4 Cell Simplified RVE of fabric composite is attempted. It is observed that it yields accurate and fast computation of the properties against any change of parameters.
