摘要
The paper is focused on ruggedized remotely controlled robots for special reconnaissance of dangerous environments. Two modifications of Orpheus robots are described in detail - Orpheus-AC, a type of robot for reconnaissance in environments with chemical, radioactive or biological contamination, and Orpheus-AM, a kind of robot searching for injured persons in battlefield. Orpheus-AC is a ruggedized teleoperated robot made for chemical and nuclear reconnaissance. It was made at our department for VOP-026, Sternberk, s. p. It may be operated wirelessly or by wire, and it fulfills military standards regarding EMC, environmental and special parameters. Orpheus-AM is a new modification under development that posesses features necessary not only to search for injured people but also to identify their medical status. The article also describes other possible ways how to enhance the capabilities of the described systems even more.
