NOISE IN FREIGHT RAILWAY TRANSPORT, A REAL PROBLEM?

摘要：
A problem of rolling stock noise in comparison with other types of transportation was introduced in the article. An emphasis was put on the fact that planned reduction of the noise level limits in the railway transportation is set in large steps, and that it is possible to fulfil these steps only after great effort and under a condition that not only the rolling stock manufacturers shall deal with the problem of noise reduction, but also the infrastructure shall participate.
