Perturbation methods are used to derive the asymptotic equations that govern the fluid dynamics of steady and unsteady, incompressible, inviscid, axisymmetric, irrotational, annular liquid jets employing as small parameter the slenderness ratio. (C) 1996 Academic Press, Inc.
