摘要
The main objective of this study was to compare IT indicators of e-health usage by physicians and patients in Ontario, Canada. The research sought to assess the physicians' and patients' use of certain technologies and to predict their capability to adapt tools for e-health communication systems in the future. Four indicators were used to determine physicians' and patients' usage of technologies: website usage, social networking usage, mobile applications usage, and telehealth usage. Significant differences were found between physicians and patients by age group and sex. Health policy-makers can use these quantitative results proactively to gauge the user's ability in managing e-health communication systems in the future. (C) 2017 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
