Theoretical and experimental study on the elastic behaviour of welded joints

摘要
First and foremost, emphasis is placed on the influence of the composition of the material and of heat treatments on the elastic characteristics of a machine element; a study is then conducted on steel bars joined together by welding. Following a description of the procedures for the preparation of the test specimens, the experimental system used is then explained. Finally, the results of the tests performed are provided; these results are analysed and the elastic behaviour of the welded joints is interpreted based on the parameters considered.
