MODERN METHODS OF NDT AND THEIR USE IN MAINTENANCE OF ROLLING STOCK

摘要
The examples of ultrasound checks mentioned above are only a marginal subset of the whole volume NON-destructive testings on rail vehicles (rolling stock) The case stresses the importance of execution of professional analyses when atypical damages on rail vehicle (rolling stock) units occur. By combination of standard and non-standard ultrasound testing of the mono-block wheel panel in working conditions of the ZSSK, we are abble to recognize indikations of non-permissible defects, that could eventually lead to creation of bigger defects on the wheel in the future.
