摘要
This article evaluates the recent publication by Palomaki et al. that confirms at a large scale in a clinical setting previous data that massively parallel sequencing of cell-free DNA isolated from maternal plasma can effectively identify trisomy 18 and trisomy 13, as well as Down syndrome (trisomy 21).
