摘要
Complexes [MCl2{(L1}2] ( M = Pd, Pt) were obtained by the reaction of the alpha-Hydroxy[1-(2-ethoxyethyl )piperidin-4-yl]phosphonate as ligand with [MCl2(COD)] ( M = Pd, Pt). The new compounds were characterized by NMR and IR spectroscopy, and microanalysis. In addition, representative solid-state structure of the ligand was determined using single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Furthermore, ab ini-tio quantum calculations of the ligand and its complexes were also carried out using density functional theory to better understand their chemical behaviors. Finally, the palladium(II) complex of the ligand was tested as a potential catalyst in the Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reactions. (c) 2022 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
