A physical chemical model based on the appearance of multilayered hollow globules found in shungite is proposed. These globules are considered as fullerene-like formations. Water is incapsulated within the hollow globules, so anomalies in the temperature dependent physical properties may be connected with the extended phase transition of water clusters. We suppose that shungite globules contact with water by means of the amphiphilic organic playing the role of surface active substances and that some metals in shungite (Cu, Ni, V) are in form of metal-organic complexes.
