摘要
A three-dimensional network, composed of convergent-divergent flow channels has been employed for the simulation of the relative permeability behavior of a random packing of equal spheres. The relative permeability is calculated as a function of the amount of the sorbed vapor volume, which is the summation of the volume due to multilayer adsorption and capillary condensation. The sizes of the flow channels are determined on the basis of the structural characteristics of the sphere pack. The effect of adsorption-desorption hysteresis on the relative permeability is examined. Results are given for the conditions of vapor sorption of carbon tetrachloride and pentane in different porosities. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
