摘要
A simple analytical formula is derived for the inlet Mach number of an ideal nozzle through which there is choked flow of gas. This formula, valid for diameter ratios beta less than or equal to 0.99, permits the explicit calculation of choked flow parameters to an accuracy <0.1%, thus offering simplicity in comparison to existing iterative methods. The formula has application in the area of pressure relief system design. Copyright (C) 1996 Elsevier Science Ltd
