摘要
The Backward Silicon Tracker (BST) of the H1 experiment at HERA measures the polar angle of particles scattered in the backward direction. It presently consists of 4 planes of 16 wedge shaped, AC-coupled, single-sided double-metallized silicon strip detectors with a pitch of 48 mu m. This paper presents results from the first two months of data taking in 1997 using a new readout electronics with programmable hit finding for the first time. (C) 1998 Elsevier Science B.V.
