Does Career Satisfaction Mediate the Relationship Between Career Adaptability and Turnover Intention in Low Ranking Employees?

摘要
This study examined the impact of career satisfaction on career adaptability and turnover intention of low ranking employees in Macau. Based on quantitative data collected from 368 employees, the study found that career adaptability was significantly and positively correlated with career satisfaction. Career adaptability and career satisfaction was significantly negatively related to turnover intention. Career satisfaction mediates the effect between career adaptability and turnover intention. By determining the impact of career satisfaction on career adaptability and turnover intention, the findings contribute to the literature and provide a deeper understanding on turnover intention. Practical implications on how to retain employees were included.
